People are frustrated of this situation and willing to pay for original copies to enjoy high quality movies but unfortunately some of them can’t afford buying the original ones which lead them to buy pirated copies. The bad things about pirated ones is we are unsure about the quality until we watch the cd or dvd and piracy is illegal. Even though it’s a lot cheaper than the original but buying pirated cd/dvd is not good for our film industry it’s better to go for the original one so that our film industry can gain more profit. Another way to enjoy high quality movies is go to the cinema. Just pay RM 10-15 for the ticket and you can enjoy your movies in a big screen with your pop corns but the problem is most of the people don’t have time to go to the cinema.They probably busy with their assignments and work.

This is a major problem in film industry not just in Malaysia but all over the world. Piracy is getting out of hand, but most people will still go to the cinema to enjoy new movies due to the fact that it takes quite a time before a new movie can be obtain through internet or pirated DVD.
ReplyDeleteQuality is what the major concern now, no one wants to watch a movie a crappy quality as it will not only be unpleasant to the eye but also a waste of time.
So which one do I prefer? I would say going to the cinema but only for some highly anticipated movies like the newly released of the classic Clash of the Titan

Nowadays people would prefer to download movies rather then going to the cinema.They are more comfortable sitting in front of the computer of watching in the living room.Plus they save a lot of money and they doesn't have to cue up to buy tickets.

Going to the cinema still have its values in terms of socializing.
ReplyDeleteDownloading movies and disregarding intelectual properties has become our normal habit.
We are from the creative multimedia industry. We sure dont want other people stealing the product of our hard work. So we have to remember that piracy is wrong, no matter what the reason.

ReplyDeleteTo me, I know that downloading is a bad and illegal way of obtaining movies, but life as a student is sometimes hard and troublesome just going to the cinema and forking out a couple of Ringgits just to watch movies.
